“The call to action is for the Kenyan youth to rise and
reject these extremist ideologies and narratives often misrepresented as Jihad”

Dr. Abdul Trashedre

The fight against terrorism and violent extremist is an all community fight that takes everyone’s input to succeed.

As the government security agencies enhance the war against fully blown terrorists, there are roles that must be played by the rest of the community in preventing it at the radicalization and recruitment level. Women are said
to be the most affected which happens in three levels;

Women Against Terrorism (WAT) is an Epuka
Ugaidi (EU) initiative that intends to run
women-led initiatives in the fight against
radicalization and violent extremism.

Our Initiatives Focus on women who were Deserted, left Childless and Derived after the loss of their Husbands or children.
